Predator is powered by a liquid-cooled, high-performance Polaris 500 engine. It's a high-revving, four-stroke, four-valve powerplant with a double overhead cam. It breathes in through a 42mm BSR carburetor and breathes out through tuned 2-into-1 header pipes. This makes for a responsive quad that can go from 0 to "eat-my-dust" in no time flat.
On many of today's sport quads, as you lean into a corner or nose into a whoop, bump steer makes it feel like the quad is steering you instead of the other way around. Predator's unique PRO (Polaris Rider Optimized) Steering system virtually eliminates bump steer. It also creates easier steering, less feedback and superior control.
Anti-Dive & Anti-Squat
On average sport quads, braking in the corners causes the front end to dive and the back end to lift. Predator's unique suspension geometry virtually eliminates dive. The chassis stays level and the wheels stay on the ground, so you can brake later into the corner.
